Play 2...Nf6! in the Sicilian
We have just received from Moscow: Play 2...Nf6! in the Sicilian
The Nimzowitsch-Rubinstein variation of the Sicilian Defense can be seen as a blank spot in the map of modern chess theory. Everyone has heard of it but no one really knows anything about it.
This book of International Master Grigory Bogdanovich fills the gap. Bogdanovich a recognized expert on the Variation, has summarized and fully systemized his thirty years of experience with it.
Each of the eight theoretical chapters are equipped with a detailed guide, allowing you to find the line of interest. Your understanding of each particular line is sharpened by several reference games.
The fact that 2...Nf6 has nothing to do with the main branches of the Sicilian makes this Variation so attractive. It will confuse your opponent, he may select inferior continuations making concessions in Black's favor.
White often desires to punish Black not realizing that the well prepared opponent is ready to strike a blow. You can be the one to deliver the KO.
