well these studies composed with tablebases ... I am not really fond of ! Moreover the solution does not make clear (to say the least) why the given moves are the only ones, or even simply good.

I think the solution is perfectly clear.
WIthout the tablebase remark no one would have complained.

I don't really agree. It is not so clear why 5.Kb8! wins and and not 5.Kb6 for instance. And so on and so forth. And I don't complain, I just express my opinion, right ?

5.Kb6 Re8 and now white can't play 6.Rc8

so what ? There is still 6.Kb7, you analysis seems superficial to me

You're right to ask the question, but I don't think Kb6 is a second solution:
5 Kb6 Re8 6 Kb7 loses time, which isn't a problem after 6... d2? 7 Rd3 b4 8 a8Q Rxa8 9 Kxa8 b3 10 Rxd2 Ka3 11 Rd7 b2 and white can reach the position after 10 Ka8 in the solution by Rb7 (or win easier with Rxh7). But it is a problem after 6... b4! 7 Rxd3 (7 Rc8 Re7+ 8 Rc7 Rc8) b3 8 a8Q Rxa8 9 Kxa8 b2 10 Rd1 Ka3 and after promotion, in the pawn endgame white can't prevent the black king to reach f7/f8 in time.
