Nice quote by Alex Yermolinsky

28 September 2006 10:40 AM

Yermo comments on Kramnik-Topalov, after game 4:

“The last two games were marred by one particular problem. First Kramnik takes cxd5 (I see no reason to label exd5 risky), then today Topalov takes with a wrong piece on c4. I hope they get their recaptures right before the match is over.” (Reactie op Kramnik-Topalov g4, Daily Chess Dirt.)

    Ook een goeie van hem:
Fear of blundering is worse than blunders themselves.

Another version of the famous frase (very important in playing chess!): “There is nothing to fear but fear itself” in the Wim Wenders film “Die Angst des Tormanns beim Elfmeter” (1971), based on Peter Handke´s novel with the same title.

Got something to say?
