Filippov & Markov qualify for World Cup

Anton Filippov and Mikhail Markov have qualified for the World Chess Cup in Tromsø, Norway. Filippov won the Zone 3.4 FIDE qualifier with a score of 7/9, while Markov finished second with 6.5 points. The tournament was held in the city of Osh, Kyrgyzstan. The tournament was attended by 35 players from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. More info here.
