Of course we must prevent black from queening on h1, to avoid mate. But we can not simply exchange queens because after 1. …h1Q+ 2. Qxh1 Rxh1+ the black rook will simply pick up our pawns and the game is lost.
So i started like this: 1. Qh1 Rxh1 2. a8Q Rg1 3. Qh1 Rxh1
Now 4. a7 Rg1 a8Q+. The black king must move to Kb1/2 which alows us to capture the h2 pawn with a fork on Qb8+ and we have a winning Q vs. R ending.
