Poetin and his clique are a disgrace to Russia.
Gary, keep courage and keep up the good work!
Citing the UCF (United Civil Front) executive director Denis Bilunov, who accompanied Kasparov in Sochi: “Nobody has detained Garry Kasparov. After a routine checkout of documents Kasparov and other members of our delegation had been immediately released. No more actions were undertaken against us.”
Kasparov being arrested does appear to be a rousting of sorts, possibly for political reasons. However, it may just be as simple as the police believing the minivan was stolen, and perhaps it was. The fact that the entourage was allowed to proceed on their way was encouraging. Great story though, keep up the good work!
Sure, Kasparov is happy to appear ones more in news… for any reason.
