[lang_nl]Van 3 tot 7 juli vindt er in de Oekraïense stad Kiev een rapidmatch plaats tussen Sergei Karjakin en Nigel Short. De tijdcontrole is 25 minuten plus tien seconden per zet.     Most of my chess friends still think of Short as a British chess hero. His glory days may be over but British chess is also on the decline.
    There is still some national interest when Short or Adams play. Good luck Nigel!
