Last Friday we reported on the Aeroflot Blitz tournament which was won by Sergey Karjakin in his hometown Moscow, Russia. Some of our readers pointed out that a number of videos have been uploaded to YouTube by Eugene Potemkin and Sergey Sorokhtin, who were filming in the playing hall. A small selection.

Great videos! Thanks for posting it. What happened in the second video of Karjakin - Grischuk? Karjakin seemed to be a little better after he played Nd5 and then they just shook hands? Was that just a draw?

Yes, it was drawn. I suppose after Bxd5 a simple continuation would be Nc6 (giving back the pawn) Bxc6 Rxc6 with a dead even position

Suck a great tournament and such a shitty plastic pieces and paper thin "plstic boards". Organiser don't respect top players.

The pieces are plastic but heavy, ideal for blitz.
