Bundesliga 2012/13 season takes off - who plays in which team?

On the 20th and 21st of October the season 2012/13 of the Schachbundesliga starts with the first two rounds. Here's all information about the matches at the playing venues Hamburg, Mülheim, Griesheim and Forchheim.
OSG Baden-Baden starts the season in Hamburg. The German champion is the big favourite to win their eighth title in a row. In the first two rounds Baden-Baden encounters the teams of Hamburg and Norderstedt. Norderstedt is one of the four promoted teams and at the same time one of the biggest underdogs in the highest German chess league. The pairings in Hamburg are as follows:
Playing venue: Kasino der Signal-Iduna-Versicherungen, Kapstadtring 8, 22297 Hamburg
1st round: Saturday, 20th of October 2012, 2pm
Hamburger SK - OSG Baden-Baden
SK Norderstedt - SG Trier
2nd round: Sunday, 21st of October 2012, 10 am
OSG Baden-Baden - SK Norderstedt
SG Trier - Hamburger SK
The top match of the weekend takes place in Mülheim. The host awaits on Saturday Eppingen in the match between the strongest clubs after Baden-Baden. The pairings at this venue:
Playing venue: Haus der Wirtschaft, Wiesenstr. 35, 45468 Mülheim an der Ruhr
1st round: Saturday, 20th of October 2012, 2pm
SV Mülheim Nord - SC Eppingen
SF Katernberg - SV Hockenheim
2nd round: Sunday, 21st of October 2012, 10 am
SC Eppingen - SF Katernberg
SV Hockenheim - SV Mülheim Nord
In Griesheim the promoted teams of Griesheim and Wiesbaden compete against the established clubs of Bremen and Emsdetten. Bremen was for many years the hardest rival of Baden-Baden but after changing the line-up dramatically it remains to be seen how strong they will be in the future. Emsdetten is by far the youngest team in the league. With Anish Giri (18), Daniil Dubov (16), Alexander Ipatov (reigning U20-World champion) and Darius Swiercz (former U20-World champion), to name a few, Emsdetten has a line-up with full of young and promising players.
Playing venue: Bürgerhaus St. Stephan, Am St.-Stephansplatz 26, 64347 Griesheim
1st round: Saturday, 20th of October 2012, 2pm
SV Griesheim - Werder Bremen
Wiesbadener SV - SK Turm Emsdetten
2nd round: Sunday, 21st of October 2012, 10 am
Werder Bremen - Wiesbadener SV
SK Turm Emsdetten - SV Griesheim
Forchheim is the last of the four promoted teams and like Norderstedt a big underdog in the season 2012/13. The only match which promises an equal fight at this venue takes place between Berlin and Wattenscheid.
Playing venue: Rathaus Forchheim, Hauptstr. 24, 91301 Forchheim
1st round: Saturday, 20th of October 2012, 2pm
SC Forchheim - SG Solingen
SF Berlin - SV Wattenscheid
2nd round: Sunday, 21st of October 2012, 10 am
SG Solingen - SF Berlin
SV Wattenscheid - SC Forchheim

Why players are allowed to play on many National Leagues simultaneously.
This is nonsense: Shirov playing the Bundesliga for Baden Baden, the Russian League for Ugra and the Spanish League for Gros Xake. Then he has to choose one team for the European Club Cup (Ugra). I guess there are other examples. Shirov's my favourite player, this is why I know this example..
These chess clubs represent nothing and nowhere, may be the only thing they represent is their sponsor. The only ones who benefit from this rule are the top players, and it goes clearly against traditional clubs and club players, even average GMs or IMs can be excluded from their National Leagues. For me, a complete nonsense.

You can question the idea of mercenaries, but it makes the league(s) internationally more attractive - Chessvibes and other international sites probably wouldn't mention the Bundesliga if it had only or mostly German players. And it gives local players the opportunity to face someone like Shirov who may also be their favorite player.
But how do you define "average GM"? For me it would correspond to Elo 2500-2650, and most clubs have such players in their lineups - including most Germans falling in that category.
BTW while many clubs have few or no German players among their top 8, these foreigners usually don't play all at the same time (because they also play tournaments and, indeed, other team competitions). Hence the German players will play, even if they are nominally only reserve.

Well I was not referring specifically to the Bundesliga, which appears to be a very exciting tournament to me. I enjoy it a lot every year.
And I've enjoyed the Russian League and the Spanish Liga as well.
And I don't blame the "mercenaries"; I would probably do it as a player if I could.
But I think that we have enough individual tournaments and supertournaments all the year and I have enough opportunities to watch Shirov games as to pervert the idea of Club Championship. Perhaps I'm wrong, but I have the impression that most of these players have never been in the Club they represent.
I was appealing to a romantic conception of the Club Tournaments and the idea of a Chess Club, rather than blaming anyone.

"Romantic conceptions" still apply, maybe not in the highest leagues but in lower ones. I play myself in the seventh Dutch league which has only local amateurs, and even the third league where Peter Doggers plays has 100% Dutch players (but one presumably rich and ambitious club hired Sokolov and van Wely for the top boards).
Back to the Bundesliga and sticking with Shirov: last season had Shirov-Aronian and Shirov-McShane (which could also happen elsewhere) but it also had Shirov-IM Huschenbeth. Maybe you don't care but maybe Huschenbeth does - he lost but it was an interesting game, a learning experience and possibly his strongest ever opponent.
I don't know if Shirov has ties with Baden-Baden (beyond flying in for matches) but I know that he visited his former club from Hamburg for something like a lecture or master class open to the general public. It helped that he was in town for other reasons: recording Chessbase DVDs and meeting one of his children (the mother married a guy from Hamburg).
Finally as I also mentioned Aronian: In a Crestbook conference he attributed his early rise to moving to Germany and playing in the Bundesliga (answering one of my questions). German players have the same opportunities but may not be as talented as Aronian!?
Overall, the Bundesliga "is what it is" - I see your point but wouldn't call it 'nonsense', at least not 'complete nonsense'.
