[lang_nl]Ok?ɬ©, zet je schrap, want wat je gaat zien is een schaakles van Teimour Radjabov op topniveau en op topsnelheid. Gelukkig is er een pauzeknop. Klaar voor de start...?[/lang_nl][lang_en]OK, get ready, because what you're about to see is a chess lesson by Teimour Radjabov at the highest level and in top gear. It's good there is a pause button. On your marks, get set, go...![/lang_en]

i don't agree : you simply don't ask people ( specially when they just finished to play a match like this ) to slow down ... The player is still into his trans ... let him say what he has to say, and then with the PAUSE BUTTON you watch it again and again ...
remember that few years ago, we didn't have this great opportunity !!!
congratulations to RADJABOV, he will become champion of the world, no doubt

No, really, his English is so good that he's quite easy to understand, and I really liked his analysis.

Radjabov will have to unfortunately face the big Slam of TOPALOV. And then of course he will resign. BET? ; )

John Nunn was amused by an opponent who managed to execute two moves in one second. Radjabov can pack five moves into one second, and do it verbally.

hey.. he's quite understandable. i thought his english to be much poorer actually. but he seems to have toned it down a lot.. the depth at which he discusses his games. i mean i wouldn't expect a super-GM to even to go through the last sequence qd7+ re7 qg4 ne2+. the thing is you have to at least look at the game yourself and go through it.. maybe spend 5 min to an hour depending on your ability and then listen to what he says. i'm about 2350 and had no problem with this.

That is just Radjabov, it is how he speaks of his games. He is always like that. I think it's very interesting, you really see the different personalities and ways of thinking about the game. Radjabov seems to be very much about concrete moves and variations, while some others will talk more about general themes or a mix of both.
You cannot ask him to make believe he is somebody else! :-)

I guess, he is trying to imitate Kasparov's way of speaking.
And to be honest, Radjabov's match with extremely unstable Eljanov is not enough informative to be chosen.

He talked at a normal speed, except when he told a sequence of moves he went turbodrive. I think subtitling the moves would help tremendously.

Mmh, indeed, he's talking too fast. What he says is not that difficult to understand but it requires a lot of concentration to get everything he says :)

It's very intersting but he really does talk terribly fast. I'm a native speaker and I can't catch it all. Could you ask the press conferencees to talk a little more slowly please. If they rattle it off like this are they just demonstrating how clever they are?

I can believe this guy saying Radjabov is imitating Kasparov. That only demonstrates how ignorant he is and how little he knows about GM mentality. Maybe one day when he learns how to play chess and know how chess people think, he will understand. No doubt, at some point, Radjabov will be World Champion.

I thought this was a great review of the game by Radjabov. It would be nicer if he spoke a bit slower but he was understandable, and I loved the variations and the ideas he mentioned.
