When you look at the 5th rank it's easy to notice that every square except a5 is attacked by white pieces. I think it's not a bad idea to search for a queen trap here.

My first idea was:
1. b4 Qxb4 2.Rb1Qa5 3.Bb6 and the queen IS trapped. But I think this is forseeable, so Black will simply avoid this situationen with 1....Qc7 and everything should be fine.

Perhaps we have to prepare it:
1.Na4 with the idea of 2.Bb6 Qb4 3.a3 and the queen is trapped. So what will black answer to Na4? Simply retreating the queen fails to the obvious 2. Nb6 fork. So I think black must play 1...Nb7 or 1...Rc6 here. I prefer Nb7 because it activates our bishop and attacks a1. I wouldn't mind to play Black afterwards.

So again no queen trap. Anyone?

Funny that in yesterday's puzzle 11.g4 is given a !! in the 1974 annotations. Surely nowadays this is a normal move. It took me barely a minute or two to decide on it (and then suggest it in the comments, without any exclamation marks.)

If Black answers 1.Na4 with 1...Nd7 this makes the e6-bishop vulnerable to 2.f5 (If 2...Bxa1 3.fxe6 wins a second piece for the rook because of the attack on the Nd7).

1...Rc6 seems to hold, though.
