From Dresden straight to the Bundesliga

BundesligaIf you're not fed up yet with top level games after the Olympiad, and you don't have too much to do this weekend, we have good news for you. A new Bundesliga weekend is ahead of us, and you can follow many Olympiad participants live again.

Three days after the Chess Olympiad in Dresden the German "Schachbundesliga" opens its doors again for some new first-class chess encounters. The fifth, sixth and some pairings of the seventh round take place at four venues.

The German champion Baden-Baden organizes its first home games this season and is aiming to maintain its leadership in the table. With many Olympic contenders Baden-Baden is in all games clear favourite.

In Emsdetten one of the most exciting pairings will take place. The runner-up M?ɬºlheim encounters the team of Bremen, which started badly in the season with some unexpected losses against lower rated teams. In Dresden there will be some interesting clashes against relegation. In Munich the host team will try to achieve its first points in this season against the teams of the west Solingen and Wattenscheid. These teams also encounter the strong squad of Tergernsee, and these pairings also promise to be very exciting.

All games live
As from this season, all games of the Schachbundesliga are being covered live on the internet. This service is offered to all chess fans for free. The website of the Schachbundesliga serves as the entrance site and from there you can go to the four playing venues and follow the games. Each playing weekend 128 games will take place at least.

Looks like Baden-Baden are going to get 1st place easily, They have by far the strongest players in the tournament

Baden Baden are monsters...imagine how they have Naiditsch and Caruana who would barely make it to board 5! , these two can easily be board 1 players for any other team.
