Nice report and pictures! I love Carlsen?Ç¬¥s orange drinks and Cheparinov?Ç¬¥s colorful clothes, very much like Topalov?Ç¬¥s.

Unlike MamedyarovFan, I would like to see one single picture of Pono… he?Ç¬¥s nowhere to be seen among the public! I?Ç¬¥m starting to imagine him tied to Kamsky?Ç¬¥s bed in front of a computer with analysis and that freakish thing from A Clockwork Orange on his eyes, while Papa Roustam drops some colirium once in a while, hahaha.

Btw, Gashimov is playing really well lately! Already beat a bunch of top players in the last month.

Karjakin-Adams ended in a win for White after Adams played 65…..Kg5 and Karjakin responded correctly with 66. e5.

Had Adams played 65……Qg5 instead, the Tablebase shows a win for White in 76 moves with best play from both players. It is anyone’s guess if Karjakin could have won the game against the best defence.

Yes, it’s amazing how many journalists and other people here just chat with each other during the press conferences. It makes me wonder what the **** they’re doing here Anyway, everyday we try to improve on the one before – we have microphones now, hope they help?

Please keep the photos and videos coming [focus exclusively on GM Mamedyarov if possible ]. Peter’s voice on the video round reports is very pleasant and clear. When he films the post game conferences, it is a pity that there are many people talking in the room because sometimes it is difficult to hear what the players are saying due to this background noise.
