Still, mark, it seems to me Ron has a point, even though it’s not a fair one towards Carlsen. But it’s true chess lovers are more interested in games than in players.
For instance, what do you know of the classic tournament of Hastings 1895: who actually won it, or its most famous game (Steinitz-Von Bardeleben)?

Agree with Carl, Carlsen is awesome in results. Although I still have to see ‘classic’ games from him (like Kramnik-Anand Wijk aan Zee 2006, or Kasparov-Topalov at the same place).

interesting that +3 was enough to win both this tournament and the WCC tournament that Anand won. every extra 1/2 point is extremely important.
