Ljubojevic: “Don’t bury us yet”

Although after Sochi he had to go back to Beijing to get his visa for The Netherlands, Wang Yue managed to win his first four games in Amsterdam. And after another round without wins, Agdestein and Ljubojevic are the topscorers in the Experience team, with three draws and one loss.

However, Ljubo asked me not to emphasize this trivial little fact. “Do praise the young players, but don’t burry us yet!”

The score is now a devastating 16-4 for the Rising Stars team:

Rising Stars vs. Resigning Stars is probably a better title for the movies…

Well, the Experience team has great players in it, Korchnoi wont today, for instance.

Yes, of course they are stars after all…

They are a bit old. They have a little pain here, a little pain there, so they can’t play their best for hours. We should appreciate the fact they are still playing at that age. The young team is playing very well, but we should respect the old players too.
