Why non-English speaker chess players use "OK" so frequently in their interviews? The champion is Radjabov of course, although he speaks very good English...

Your question is valid. It seems as if "OK" is the equivalent of "uh", the interjection used in English to provide time to think of the next sentence. I hear the annoying "uh" a lot and "OK" sounds better (or maybe cuter).
