@ Luis speaking of some of the comments in that blog: Is it just me or if Nakamura finishes 5th (1/2 point behind home court advantaged Short and Adams who he’s only slightly higher ranked than) at the London Chess Classic, will all the Nakamura haters say he had a bad tournament? I hope I’m wrong, because it would be a respectable performance to me, but I don’t think I am.

Carlsen losing that second game must have hurt, allowing Nakamura to get back into the match instead of almost deciding it. At first glance easily winning looks 45. Ng6 to me: 45… Qf2 (or 45… Rxe8 46 Nxh4 +-; 45… Qa4 46 Nf8+ Kg8 47 Re1 +-) 46 Nf8+ Kg8 47 Re1 and I see no defence, though without engine aid I might miss something of course . White should not have lost the endgame a pawn up either, but a pawn race is always tricky….
