Paul Keres Memorial Rapid

Alexei Shirov won the 22nd Paul Keres Memorial on Sunday. The Latvian grandmaster scored 6.5/9 and finished half a point ahead of Jaan Ehlvest, Aleksandr Volodin and Daniel Fridman.

The rapid tournament was a 10-player round robin held 11-13 January in Tallinn, Estonia. The time control was 15 minutes and 10 seconds increment per move. Shirov won for the third time in a row in Tallinn.
