Tal Memorial R2: Kamsky beats Shirov
Perhaps the chess fans were treated a bit too much candy yesterday. In the second round of the Tal Memorial, the players were taking things more slowly, and besides four quiet draws, only one player won: Gata Kamsky beat Alexei Shirov.
The Tal Memorial takes place 17-31 August at the GUM Exhibition Hall, located close to the Red Square, in Moscow, Russia.
Shirov - Kamsky 0-1

Hello, Columbo.
Moro is in form again. I think we can expect a great fight today, because L?ɬ©k?ɬ? wants to win this game with white and Moro is always playing for a win.

L?ɬ©k?ɬ? won in Dortmund 2008. I would like if he could repeat his success here.

It's amazing that Ivanchuk had an equal game after 17.Bxd4: it looks like a classical example of a strong bishop against a misplaces knight. But looks deceive, apparently.

Leko won today ... i agree with you, he deserves better, specially now that he is taking risks again ...
