Three days with Karpov in Syria

Karpov in SyriaAt the moment he's playing a tough tournament in San Sebasti?°n but before that, former World Champion Anatoly Karpov played his role as ambassador for chess in Syria, where he was invited recently for some promotional activities. The Europe-Echecs team travelled with him and shared their video report with us.

He might not be playing himself very much anymore, but Anatoly Karpov is still quite active as an ambassador for chess. Recently he visited the Syrian Arab Republic where he was invited for some promotional activities, inluding the execution of the first move at the Arabic Chess Championships Under 14.
