Stefan Mazur was the surprising winner of the 27th Pula Open which took place 8-15 June in Pula, Croatia. The Slovak IM scored an amazing 8/9 in a field with ten GMs. IM Frode Urkedal of Norway did well too: he finished shared second with GM Sinisa Drazic, on 7.5 points.
