On Tuesday Ukraine clinched the gold medals at the Women's World Team Championship in Astana, Kazakhstan. The team, consisting of Kateryna Lagno, Anna Ushenina, Mariya Muzychuk, Natalia Zhukova and Inna Yanovska-Gaponenko, won seven matches and drew two to reach 16 match points. Robert Zelcic won the strong Zagreb Open on Monday. The Croatian grandmaster finished on 8/9 which was a full point more than a group of seven players: Zdenko Kozul, Evgeny Postny, Hrvoje Stevic, Ozren Biti, Miso Cebalo, Ante Brkic and Srdan Sale.
