Ian Nepomniachtchi and Alexey Dreev are tied for first place after five rounds at the World Rapid Championship in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia. The two Russian grandmasters scored 4.5/5. Shakhriyar Mamedyarov and Ildar Khairullin are half a point behind them. The tournament finishes on Saturday.
