Abhijeet Gupta won the 2013 Commonwealth Open Chess Championship in Port Elizabeth, South-Africa on Sunday. The 23-year-old grandmaster from India edged out Sergey Fedorchuk of Ukraine and Sergey Tiviakov of the Netherlands on tiebreak (Buchholz) after all three finished their tournament on 9/11.
