Peter Leko won his first game at the FIDE Grand Prix in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on Friday. After drawing his first seven games, the Hungarian grandmaster beat Gata Kamsky with Black in a Nimzo-Indian. As all other games ended in draws, Fabiano Caruana and Sergey Karjakin are still tied for first place.

Fabiano Caruana and Sergey Karjakin are sharing the lead after seven rounds at the FIDE Grand Prix in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. On Thursday two (end)games ended decisively: Karjakin defeated Alexander Morozevich while Caruana won against Leinier Dominguez.

Alexander Morozevich is again the sole leader at the FIDE Grand Prix in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The Russian grandmaster was the only winner in the 6th round; he crushed Leinier Dominguez in a Grünfeld.

In the fourth round of the World Chess Grand Prix in Tashkent three of the six games were decisive: Svidler, Wang Hao and Caruana won their games. Since Morozevich drew his game versus Mamedyarov, the Russian retains the sole lead entering the first rest day (Monday November 26th).

The World Chess Grand Prix saw Shakhriyar Mamedyarov and Fabiano Caruana scoring wins in Tashkent on Saturday, over Peter Svidler and Gata Kamsky respectively. The other four games ended in a draw and thus Alexander Morozevich remains in the lead.

In the second round of the World Chess Grand Prix in Tashkent, only Alexander Morozevich managed to win his game against top seed Fabiano Caruana. Since the other games ended in a peaceful way, it's the Russian GM who's taking an early sole lead in the capital of Uzbekistan.

The FIDE Grand Prix ended in a three-way tie for first between Boris Gelfand, Shakhriyar Mamedyarov and Veselin Topalov. In the last round Mamedyarov drew his game against Leko quickly.
