In the fourth round of the World Chess Grand Prix in Tashkent three of the six games were decisive: Svidler, Wang Hao and Caruana won their games. Since Morozevich drew his game versus Mamedyarov, the Russian retains the sole lead entering the first rest day (Monday November 26th).

The World Chess Grand Prix saw Shakhriyar Mamedyarov and Fabiano Caruana scoring wins in Tashkent on Saturday, over Peter Svidler and Gata Kamsky respectively. The other four games ended in a draw and thus Alexander Morozevich remains in the lead.

In the second round of the World Chess Grand Prix in Tashkent, only Alexander Morozevich managed to win his game against top seed Fabiano Caruana. Since the other games ended in a peaceful way, it's the Russian GM who's taking an early sole lead in the capital of Uzbekistan.

On Thursday the second leg of the World Chess Grand Prix series started in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The games take place in the Gallery of Fine Art, each day at 14.00 local time. In the first round, two players managed to score a full point: Alexander Morozevich and Sergey Karjakin.
