With five decisive games, today's round of the Grand Prix tournament in Jermuk was even more spectacular than yesterday's, but a bad one for the local fans. Aronian and Leko are leading the Jermuk Grand Prix with 3/4 after a great fourth round, in which they both won their White games, against Kamsky and Karjakin respectively. Ivanchuk moved to shared third place thanks to a wonderful attacking game against Alekseev. Full report.

In round 2 of the Grand Prix in Jermuk, Dmitry Jakoveno recovered from yesterday's loss by beating Gata Kamsky in just 29 moves. Top seed Levon Aronian joined leaders Cheparinov and Leko thanks to a victory in a queen ending against Alekseev. Full, pictorial report.

After its 4th tournament in Nalchik, Russia (won by Levon Aronian) it has been very silent around the FIDE Grand Prix Series. Although FIDE hasn't communicated a thing yet, we can tell you that in just five days from now, the first round of the 5th GP will take off in Jermuk, Armenia - not Yerevan.

In what was arguably the finest round of the Grand Prix tournament in Nalchik, Levon Aronian managed to beat his direct competitor Peter Leko for first place in convincing and ravishing style. The rest of the games were equally entertaining.

While Aronian got luckily away with a draw, Leko punished Kasimdzhanov for his bad performance. In the last round, starting two hours earlier today, Aronian and Leko will fight out in a direct confrontation who will be the winner of the 4th Grand Prix in Nalchik. Video added.

Did someone say „Black is hot“? In round 10 of the Grand Prix he was not! The players with the black pieces only scored one draw out of six games plus another draw out of a non-game. Even the Petroff only scored 25 percent. As a result, Aronian is still in sole lead, now half a point ahead of Leko. Video added.
