Between June 5 and 11, 2013 the World Rapid & Blitz Championships will take place in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia. The prize money for each World Championship is 200,000 US Dollars. For the first time in the history of the events, they are open to all players nominated by their Federations or else with ratings over 2500. More at FIDE.
