Big upsets were seen during the first round of the Tradewise Gibraltar Chess Festival's Masters tournament as top seeds GMs Vassily Ivanchuk and Gata Kamsky were both held to a draw. Beating Vassily Ivanchuk 4.5-3.5 in the final, Anatoly Karpov won the "Trophée Anatoly Karpov" in Cap d'Agde on Saturday.
