Hou Yifan needs only one draw in the last three games of the Women's World Championship Match to retain her world title. The Chinese grandmaster also won the 7th match game against Humpy Koneru of India on Wednesday in Tirana, Albania.

Hou Yifan took a 2-point lead on Monday in the Women's World Championship Match. In the 6th match game she defeated her opponent Humpy Koneru for the second time, with the black pieces, despite having spent a few hours in the hospital the night before.

The fifth game of the Women's World Championship match between Hou Yifan and Humpy Koneru also ended in a draw. At half-time, title holder Hou Yifan still leads by a point. The sixth game will be played on Monday, November 21st. The match takes place in in Tirana, Albania and is played over 10 classical games and a possible tiebreak.

The fourth game of the Women's World Championship match between Hou Yifan and Humpy Koneru ended in a draw. The reigning champion was better throughout the game, but after five hours of play the Indian grandmaster saved the draw. The match takes place in in Tirana, Albania and is played over 10 classical games and a possible tiebreak.

Hou Yifan scored the first win in the World Championship match in Tirana, Albania. The Chinese grandmaster, who defends her world title in a match over 10 classical games against Humpy Koneru of India, won the third game with the black pieces.

Humpy Koneru drew the second game in her World Championship match against Hou Yifan most comfortably. If anyone was better in the game it was the Indian grandmaster. The match is played over 10 classical games and if necessary there will be a rapid (and possible blitz) tie-break. The event takes place in Tirana, Albania.
