Press conference: Topalov again (and poor Shirov)

16 January 2007 23:43 PM CET | Last modified: 17:28 | By Peter Doggers  | Filed under: Reports | Tags:

Today it was Topalov again who didn’t mind showing his game to the journalists in the press room (and the chess fans at Chessvibes!). Poor Shirov, who we see again on the losing side. By the way, do we have to start worrying about Shirov? Will it be his last Wijk aan Zee? Or is it just a slow start? Let’s hope so… Anyway, have fun with this time a piece of Kasparovian opening preparation by Topalov in the Grünfeld.

Peter, geniaal…!

Thanks very much 4 these videos with such high technical quality but also quality about their content. I’m amazed about Topalov analysis. He is so clear and strong. His explanations are just so useful and brillant. If you have the opportunity give my congratulations to Vesilin and do not forget to thank him for what he does 4 us in the press room.
You make a very good job guys ! Carry on this way !

Zo moet men Grinfeld leren , ik vind
    Groeten

At the risk of repeating myself - these videos are fantastic! The sound is better than before and Topalov gives a very interesting review of the game.
