Genieten bij Russisch clubschaak

Net toen ik dacht dat er even een moment van stilte op de schaakkalender was, werd ik geattendeerd op het Russisch Clubkampioenschap. Kanonnen als Morozevich, Grischuk, Akopian, Bologan, Shirov, Ivanchuk, Radjabov, Dreev en Ponomariov zijn erbij en wij dus ook. De eerste ronde kende meteen al enkele uitermate aantrekkelijke partijen. Wat dacht u van deze.

Morozevich-Moiseenko

Tegen het Russisch wist Morozevich wel degelijk voordeel te halen. Wat zeg ik, hij speelde het fraai: 23.Lxh6! gxh6 24.h4 en wit won in de aanval.

Andere aanraders zijn Stefanova-Paehtz en Zvjaginsev-Ponomariov. Inderdaad, Zvjaginsev pakte na 1.e4 c5 opnieuw zijn paard op b1 vast om het op a3 neer te zetten en won er weer mee. Deze en andere partijen uit de eerste ronde vindt u hier.
