Dortmund Blitz Exhibition

So while no round was scheduled for yesterday, the players weren’t resting at all. As has become traditional, I think, all participants of the Chess Meeting played blitz games against amateurs, in the Dortmund town hall. The super grandmasters had two minutes on the clock and the local artists had five minutes thinking time to spend. ChessVibes was there filming it all, and presents the first video today. Soon we will publish some longer fragments of games by Kramnik, Anand, Leko and Carlsen.

LOL @ the little blode kid playing Magnus. he clearly had no clue what he was doing. It looked like Gefland lost a game at the end of the video!
Apparently Magnus won all of his games.
Actually Gelfand got away with a draw there. His opponent offered a draw which he had to accept.
Very good the videos. But want you move too tha camera?.
Forward friends!!.
From Cusco-Peru.
Excellent work once again!
Die schaakborden zien er heel mooi uit.
Zijn ze van hout??
Hello Peter,
I am visiting chessvibes for a long time now. I wonder wether we could have some e-mail contact? I am from Germany btw :).
If you like to, just write me a mail.
Thanks and nice video
Hi Jan, did you notice this one?
Kudos to the GMs! I am sure it was a memorable experience for their partners.
And thank you for the video!
Are you the N-N playing blitz against Anand?
How come the officials were taking the clocks after the match. Perhaps participants agreed to buy the clock, then after the game it was signed by the grandmaster played?
If that is not at all what was taking place, they should do that next time. I would gladly pay $50-$100 to play, then have my clock signed after I lost. (And if I lived in Europe).
Thank you for the videos. That single video had me smiling bigger than hundreds of YouTube brain drain vids..
Regards,
Pal
They’re not officials taking the clocks, they’re arbiters stopping them, because the flag has fallen.
