Issue no. 2500 for Chess Today

12 September 2007 21:52 PM | Last modified: 21:54

Today’s issue of Chess Today was a special one: it was issue no. 2500. A wonderful achievement by the CT team, which consists of GM Alexander Baburin (editor-in-chief), GM Mikhail Golubev, IM Andrei Deviatkin and IM Vladimir Barsky (besides many other titled players who sometimes contribute). We’ve mentioned CT quite a lot here at ChessVibes and hereby we’d like to congratulate the CV-team and wish them good luck for the next 2500 issues.

Chess Today is a daily chess magazine (yes, seven days a week!) in PDF, which is sent by email, together with PGN (and CBV) files with the most important games of the day before. It tells about the daily chess news worldwide, has one or a few puzzles each time and sometimes book reviews, readers’ letters and (chess political) discussions. This message was sent to all subscribes today:

You’d be surprised to know how chess players never heard of Chess Today. Often, these are the players who would really benefit from reading and studying it. So, please help to make CT more visible in the chess community - mention it in your blogs, ICC and PlayChess profiles and websites. Why not to print out 1-2 issues and bring it to your chess club? Or post it at a notice board at your next tournament? Every little bit helps - the more people know about Chess Today, the better!

As for CT-2500, please forward it to all your chess friends - most of them will surely appreciate it! Tell them that they can see more sample and learn more about Chess Today at our website - www.chesstoday.net Thank you in advance!

With best regards,

Alex Baburin
