A fascinating interview with Kevin Spraggett, still our strongest GM. The Mediterranean climate obviously agrees with him. You have to cut him some slack on his pronounciation. Only the Dutch can say Scheveningen correctly!

I remember reading somewhere that during the war the Dutch underground used to catch German infiltrators by getting them to say “Scheveningen.”

What a total gentleman! It’s so nice to see a strong GM who isn’t a total ass. You just picked up a fan, Kevin. Good luck in future tournaments.

    Hi Kevin

We were talking about chess at work and your name came up.
My mother (your Aunt) is Evelyn MacGregor. We met many years ago in Nova Scotia. Just thought I would say hi.

Fellow loser players, please don’t use this board as ur chat line…, go to loser kibitz gm’s games on icc or playchess.com to increase your vocab, thoughprob not ur social skills or mental acuity…
