Update: a few comments to the games
We’re experiencing quite a busy week of chess. Due to editorial work for the lengthy Noteboom report and preparation of an equally lengthy conclusive Aeroflot Open report (which was won by Evgeny Alekseev, we can reveal already), for now we just bring you the moves of round 4 of Morelia/Linares. As soon as possible, comments to the games will follow. But… we do have videos!
And now for the videos. First some fragments of the second round. Vassily Ivanchuk and Peter Leko seem to be the biggest wanderers. Especially Leko is quite interested in other positions.
And we have two more free chess lessons for you:

The first video would not play in linux - too bad.
Yes, it doesn’t play in linux… ok, the post mortems are more interesting for me, so it’s not a big problem for me…
It works just fine for me with the firefox (mozilla) mplayer plugin.
I constantly examine top games and write about them in BrianWallChess@Yahoogroups.com and also do Chess commentary for http://www.ChessTelevision.com. It is absolutely fascinating for me to compare what I think is going on with the players themselves. I menion Chessvibes vidoes on my webcasts. They are state of the art fantastic. Historic. I wish we had these for Nimzovich, Capablanca, etc.

yes. ChessVibes has a winner with this. Don´t forget to mention the things it might do for the sport. Popular chess for the masses. It´s not just a concept.
Great coverage of this super-tournament by Chessvibes, once again. This site is a pioneer, it shows the way to the rest of the sites of this kind.
BTW, it is funny that the first video was the only one I could see in linux (using firefox + mediaplayer connectivity plugin + mplayer with Win32 codecs). There seems to be a problem with my installation of flash player 9, so I couldn’t see the other two.
Very nice!
I downloaded the flv ( flash files ) and
watched it using FLVPlayer.exe
