Spectacle in Moscow

20 December 2007 12:09 PM | Last modified: 15:41

Just two rounds of the Russian Championship have been played (Grischuk, Sakaev, Rychagov and Tomashevsky are leading with 1,5), and already so much has happened. Favourites failing, sharp openings, middlegame problems, endgame technique, timetrouble blunders and even a mobile phone deciding one of the games. So let’s hurry and have a look some of the games, because they’re exciting and instructive at the same time.

Excellent analysis again, Peter. The report lacks only one ‘professional’ aspect: sleazy pictures of dubious women who were spotted during the tournament…

    Hoi Peter,

    Anyone particular in mind, Arne?

Steve, I’m just very disappointed that Chessvibes doesn’t seem to join the current trend of stuffing articles with pics of women who seem to have as little to do with chess as with a knitting-contest :-)

Arne is quite right peter, we all want your site to top the lists, so bow to his compelling demands.

Got something to say?
