    KNSB-rating: 2208??? Knap hoor. Ben je al niet iets van een nationaal meester dan?

    Oké, leuk, thanks! Enne, ‘nationaal meester’, dat bestaat niet echt. Er zijn geen titels die horen bij een nationale rating. De eerste titel waarop ik kans zou maken is Fide Master (FM), als ik mijn internationale rating weet op te krikken naar 2300. Maar de eerste echte titel die telt, en die je op je cv wilt hebben zeg maar, is International Master. Een FM wordt ook wel Feeble Master genoemd. :-)

    In Amerika bestaat wel zoiets als National Master. Dan Heisman is er een voorbeeld van. Anyway, elke titel op m’n cv zou ik een prestatie van formaat vinden. Feeble Master of niet ;-)

    Wat heet! Ik vindt een rating van 2000 al een prestatie van formaat :-)
