took me 4 mins to solve -
1.Ka2 (what else?) Ra5+
2. Kb2 f5! ( now black is going to play checks along the 5th rank as white’s king can’t escape via d3,e4,f4)
(also black can’t play Rb5+ , Rc5+ then f5 – bcoz of Ra7 in that case)
3.Ra7!! – Ra7 4.d7! Ra5! (4…Rd7 5.f8(Q) +-)
5. d8(R)! 1-0
sorry missed a trick
1.Kb2!! a1(Q) 2.Ka1! ( this is important bcoz, if 1.Kxa2 f5!=)
2…Ra5+ (2…f5 3.Ra7!+- this is the point of Kb2)
3.Kb2 f5 4.Ra7 Rxa7 5.d7+- (4…Rb5+ 5.Ka1! Re5 6.Ra2++-) 1-0
nice one- thx mr.afek
The one of last week was nice, too, but I just had some of the ideas (Kd5 and underpromotion came to my mind) and wasn’t very successful
5…Ra8 and black is winning
5.f8(Q) Ra5 6.d7+-
